Lotus Park

Strollers relish Baihe's green-dotted lotus fields,
Drifting clouds are reflected in the autumn lake,
The morning glow paints the sky pink,
Twilight dews drip subtly in the ponds.
Dots of dazzling pinks emerge from the mud,
Layers of greens are shared with the best friend,
The murmuring creek sings the songs of tranquility,
Envy not, my lord, for I have the best views from dawn to dusk.

This poem inscribed in a stone tablet in the park describes the beautiful sights and sounds of Baihe. Believe it or not, you can see all the poetic views in the poem right inside Lotus Park. Located north of the Dingshanzaijiao Tribe in Yufeng Community, Lotus Park was built in 1996. This park, built along a hill, encompasses an area of over four hectares. A series of lotus ponds and a variety of plants spread across the park, complemented by beautifully designed lotus pergolas, wooden walks, lotus lanterns and sculptures of hibiscus emerging from water. The pleasing views around the lotus pergolas, supplemented by hardware facilities, also provide educational functions. If you come during the lotus flower season, you will be immersed in the cheering breezes scented with lotus fragrance wherever you sit or lean. The view, the scent, the peace and quiet will send you into a world of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
